Fiber Image Guide (Rigid)

The number of pixels within the image guide.(Which is also the fiber counts)

• Typical Range: 10,000 - 50,000 px
• High Range: 100,000 - 150,000 px

The diameter of each single fiber element, smaller fiber diameter means a higher resolution.But noticing smaller fiber diameter (<8um) may result in optical crosstalk in NIR wavelength range.

• Typical Range: 8um,10um,12um
• Min Range: 4um,6um
• High Range: 25um,50um

Notice here is bending angle (not minimum bending radius)

• 5-10 deg.

In an ideal imaging system, the fiber size and resolution will be as below:

• 25um ~ 20lp/mm
• 12um ~ 42lp/mm
• 6um ~ 102lp/mm
• 4um - 189lp/mm

• 200°C (bonded termination)
• 350°C (fused termination)

The fibers we used are customized Multimode Fibers. Best Working Wavelength is

• 400nm - 1100nm
