Brief
This master's thesis proposes and experimentally investigates two optical fiber magnetic field sensors based on sandwich cascade structures (SMF-HCF-SMF-HCF-SMF and SMF-MMF-SMF-HCF-SMF) combined with magnetic fluid for magnetic field sensing, with the latter design also explored for simultaneous magnetic field and temperature measurement and cross-sensitivity reduction.
