光ファイバー テーパーは、光学画像を異なるサイズで一端からもう一端に転送できるデバイスです。テーパー形状に配置された光ファイバーの束で構成されており、束の直径はデバイスの長さに沿って変化します。テーパー比は入力直径と出力直径の比であり、画像の拡大または縮小を決定します。

光ファイバーテーパーは、異なるサイズのセンサーに画像を適合させたり、光エネルギーを集中させたり、光学システムのサイズを縮小したりするなど、さまざまな用途に使用できます。
